Over the years we have worked with a number of licensed and unlicensed radios.  Since 1999, we have found the newer style 902-928MHZ unlicensed spread spectrum radios to be our preferred SCADA radio solution. These radios can pass data from site to site to site, have excellent range, flexibility and built-in diagnostics.  Since it usually requires using a water tower or other high structure as a repeater, we have developed extensive installation skills.  To date, we have install 1000 radios of which 2/3 are unlicensed radios.  To insure a quality radio network, we conduct our own radio site surveys.
